At my workplace now, boredom sets in again? haha..not too bad lar, on and off hav things to do, but there are times wen im free too! *smiles* i learned fr Flower Podder forum tt 4 clover leaf is said to bring gd luck (thus my username, hee). Newspaper has also reported it and upon viewing their webbie, i saw numerous testimonials fr customers tt hav received gd luck. It ranged fr striking 4D, getting a bf, r/s smooth sailing, studies good etc.

I wanted to use my first pay to get myself a Gucci/LV bag, but on second thought, tt can wait, thus i bought in total 6 clover leaf. Its for myself, my family as well as my precious. Their design ranges, size of the leaf also differs, including the shapes. After considering for so long, i bought the gold-plated ones in handphone strap for myself, mum and sis. As for the 3 other guys, i got them a keychain format, sth like those where u can put wif ur keys. Spent in total S$324.00! *faint*

For my mum and dad, hopefully they dun encounter hiccups in their work and no problems in health. For my sis, hopefully she'll be able to complete her degree and hav a smooth r/s. For my brother, hopefully he can be more sensible, study hard for his future, and also hav a smooth r/s. As for myself and my precious baby, hopefully a smooth r/s, being able to go thru all de obstacles tt he face in camp and finally grad fr OCS, and for me, a good day at work is all i ask for. Will it stil work since i said out all my wishes? oh no~

monday blues? ha..alrite lah :p work as usual was so-so, stil can cope (at de moment). headed down to bugis to mit dear's cousin on Tuesday, for dinner! *smiles* been quite awhile since we met up, so had pretty much to update each other on. hee. :P Claire decided to makan @ V8, so off we wen thr for our hungry tummies. =) afterwhich, we wen for a drink @ Starbucks, chilling on the couch seat. *comfy comfy*hehe. was a nice meet up, tokin bout work and life. and de ppl we meet! HAHA~ there's always weird ppl existing ard us yea. :) left bout 10pm, since both of us had to work de nex day. *sianified*

work and work and work. ha.. for de sake of $$ hur? LOL~ oh, was quite happy tt i got my pay aldy! hee, cos i missed out on de sep salary input, i tout i had to wait till de oct's one, which is on every 26th of de mth. tryin hard to survive wif wad i hav, earned fr SCB previously. heh.

this particular wk pass quite slowly tho. mayb cos nth much to occupy me wif, except for one of de day which i was really extra busy, cos my colleague wen on MC and i'd to cover her. *faint* it was a gd experience tho. cos i get to learn many many more things. *smiles* had to go for courses n courses n courses too...grr! n de talks sometimes really make me wanna snooze! *yawn* becoming more and more like a pig! *frown*

oh yea, it was also Ro's birthday! *Happy 20th birthday my dear gal* busy busy gal living in hostel now.. and only going home like once in 2 weeks! cos she's very much enjoying de life over there! glad to hear tt gal, study hard for ur exams ok! drop me a msg wen you're free to mit up, i bring along ur prezzie ok! *smiles*

aww Friday le! *happie* so glad tt i dun hav to work on Saturdays anymore. hehe. sometimes i get quite tired on Fridays too, but its like de only day tt i can mit up wif frens and tt de nex day i dun hav to work.., so i headed dwn to Bugis to mit June! *smiles* tis Joanne ah.. last min say cannot come. -.-"

anyway, guess whr we headed for dinner?? *drums rolls* ... V8! *double faint* oh my, my 3rd time in a week liao! WAH! :p treated her tis dinner, since she's been always paying stuff for me. *thank u so much gal* dinner was good :) was tellin her how 'weird' my colleague is.. sigh.. wad to do? i cant choose my colleagues rite? ha.. as long as she doesnt step on my toes, shouldnt hav any problems ba. i hope, at least.

we wen dwn to Starbucks for a drink after dinner, and started snapping some fotos. geez. we left at bout 10+, took a cab to home sweet home. *smiles* by de time i gt bk, brain dead liao. =( super shag, after a whole wk of work. zZzzz... it was a fruitful meet-up. catch up wif u again ok gal. meanwhile, do tk care alrite? any prob, jus gimme a call ya? :)

it is a Saturday..and i actually tout it was a wkday! woke up at 7am, tinkin ive to go to work! *faint* so i wen bk to slp after tt. LOL~ got up ard 11, prepared, den left hse to mit my precious one. thr were some delays, so i shopped ard @ Lot 1. bought 2 necklace, hee, love @ first sight. de salesgal was v friendly too. :) im getting sick of tt shopping centre tho! LOL~

met dear at bout 2+, drove dwn to town cos he commented tt its been long since we wen thr. heh heh, v true. :) for de sake of parking fees, we decided to parked at PS, den walked down. omg, my legs were screaming =( and dear cld tell me: "hm..tis walk is nth as compared to all my route marches.." ok win liao lor! haha~ it was so sunny somemore, buay tahan ah!

we walked all de way.. combed Wisma, Takashimaya, Cineleisure, Heerens, Plaza Sing. tt practically occupied us till evening. it was a wrong decision to go to Heerens. cos de Superstars were thr! haa.. wad a crowd! ppl pushing here n thr ah.. faint. dear was happy he saw de female DJ (which he calls her elfie gal cos look like elf, lol) thr tho. :p lunch was @ Marche, yummy yummy! dear treated me, cos he said i dun hav to put de P Plate anymore! geez. yea, its no big deal la.. hehe, i stil dun really noe how to park (like wad moude says..hmph), so quite bad hur? haa.

had fun shopping ard. seen more weird ppl. as in de dressing n their hair. LOL. dear wen ard tellin me.."eh u look at de ger over thr..", "eh u see this guy blah blah..".. haha! bought 2 shoes fr URS, open toed kind. June advised me nt to wear too often those covered shoes, not good for de feet. and me, i only hav like 1 open toe shoe (so far), not inculding slippers la.. so i got shou huo le! hehe. thanks for de advice gal! *smiles*

bought a Winnie the Pooh 'bowl', to put in my office! hehe.. to put sweets! wahahah~ love it to bits. =) *YAY*

dinner was @ Newton Circus. we missed de fishball stall thr. hehe. things change pretty fast hur, dey relocated liao. :/ so many renovations undergone. hmm.. afterwhich, we checked out some movie timings, but dun really fit our plan, so yup, no movies tis wkend! :)

drove to Suntec for short while. faint, we waited like half an hr for de parking space?? can break record ah! *SIAN* dear bought some stuffs fr Carrefour, and i wen to buy cakes fr Secret Recipe! hee, my colleague told me their cakes r pretty nice, and bcos its their anniversary or sth, slice cakes r going at buy 1 get 1 free, and whole cakes, are going at 50% disc! not bad a deal hur? go try it ya? *smiles*

aww its Sunday aldy! *sulks* woke dear up to go for MacDonalds breakfast. *happie* haven eaten their food for quite awhile! hehe. was on de way back..then it rained! *sob* tout it was a small rain.. but it rained practically de whole day! *cries* bah~

lazy us, we ringed 6-235-35-35 for KFC Delivery!hehe.*delicious* waited for de rain to simmer dwn a little. but doesnt look like it did? *sigh* nevertheless, we wen out at bout 4.. to Suntec again! ha.. cos i wanted to check out some stuffs thr. again, hard to find parking space! grr, im nt gg to park thr anymore! *angry*

by de time we reached thr, not much time to enjoy also. i bought my stuff, had dinner, den home sweet home liao. :/ a very simple Sunday, but i enjoyed it all, thank you for de company dear. =) gonna miss him beri much again, cos its field camp again! argh~ its for 1 whole long wk tis time! no calls too! sian!

bah~ i dun like Sunday nites. cos tml is a Monday. *sob* =( meaning its back to work. *sulks*

headed to PS yest, planning to get dear's stuff tt he ordered (lol) me to get fr Carrefour, for his field camp. it was a Saturday, so yea everywhere was packed like hell, kp bumpin into ppl..grr~

met Joanne for a late lunch last minutedly, since she had no plans too, and we haven seen each other for ages! :p lunch was @ Pastamania, yum yum! hee~ we chatted bout work.. bf.. life.. more importantly, de focus was on SCB (my prev workplc). heh. so bloody irritating, hearing wad she told me.. wad those ppl are sayin bout us etc. even wen we arent thr anymore, we're stil so 'popular'! haha. i tink we made a name for ourselves. LOL~

its really ridiculous la.. tis officer, after i left, kept comparing me wif de new ger hu took over me. she's been thr for 1.5 mths liao, but stil cant do de job alone ok. wen i wen thr, i was only given 1wk to learn, afterwhich, im alone! i cor for help, also no one help leh. aiya, no choice, i dun hav tt mei li rite. hmph~ now, 3 ppl are helping her.. wth?! there are many shitty things i heard, overall, that plc is really hell! actually, its worse than hell! de ppl thr are scary! cant b bothered since both of us hav our own jobs liao. *smiles*

we window-shopped, den headed to Bugis for short while. afterwhich, i left to mit my parents. while waiting for dem, i wen to de temple to pray, and blur me.. got to de wrong meeting place! *faint* i was at the OG Albert Complex waiting for my parents, but in fact, dey told me to mit at de Chinatown outlet! sheesh. *dumb dumb*

so after i finally met dem (lol), we spent our dinner waiting for practically 1 hour (lol). my parents wanted to try de famous claypot rice at Smith Street or sth... walk walk.. found it.. den tadah, muz wait for 1 hr! LOL~ we waited eventually, but meantime ordered other dishes to makan. *greedy* food was quite nice :)

got home, had to slp early, but being the gossipy-me, i was on de fone wif June til 1+. lol.. it was a nice talk tho. giv me a ring wen you're free ya! :)

i practically couldnt slp de whole nite after hanging dwn de fone. cos im scared i wun b able to wake up in time de nex dae. LOL~ so i jus kp tossing n turning till it was time for me to open my eyes. haha~

dear's mum came at 7 to pick me up, den we wen off to KAP Mac for breakfast. reached Safti ard 745, and hee we wen straight to dear's bunk! =) gee, he shoved sth into my hand, which he wrote sneakily in his bunk. bah~ a love letter. *blush* he's proud of it, kept pestering me to read it, so yup, here it goes:

been bout a week at my new workplace. hmm. its really a new envt. 100% change as compared to wad i do over at SCB! LOL~ which is a gd thg of cuz. everyday is like a new learning experience for me. i'm so new lo, hope dey wun bully a new bird. :/ some updates:

1. i was told to report everyday at 830am, but hor.. de ppl here ah, only arrives wen it is 9+, earliest is 9 liao! lol. so im like always de erh earliest.. with nothin to do! sian~

2. den come lunch time ah, can choose to eat either at 12 or 1230. my colleagues usually goes at 12, so i follow la. but hor.. lol we only comes back at 2, earliest 130! LOL~ at first i tout mayb i rem wrongly wad time we came out.. but one wk liao.. no leh, its a routine man! ha, so curious me wen to ask my fren bout it. apparently dey said can come bk at 2 la.. cos if come bk at 1, also nth to do cos de managers r not here to giv us work. so funny eh~ but happy. hee. if got work to do, den cannot liao la, so i guess its quite flexible ba. :)

3. another thg bout lunch, my colleagues hav tis habit of eating n drinkin at a different plc. dey usually makan at Place A, den 1pm, dey'll ask one another "eh how, where shld b go and hav our drink ah?", den we'll end up at place B. like few daes ago, we had lunch @ Amoy Street, den ended up at Yakun for a drink (one of my colleague stil bought bread to eat!)..heh. hmm, Shenton Way big la, but all office buildings ma.. got so many food areas meh? mm. ha, dun b surprise to see me grow fat fat in few mths time. hehe.

4. oh yea, and im quite satisfied wif havin a own table, plus a phone! hehe got direct line one.. so far, my father n June has called me thru tt! hehe. and i was given all de stationeries.. files etc, all prepared hao hao de. =) password all done too! yea efficient! :p im intending to place some fotos up someday, wen i get de hang of my job duties. hehe. if nt ltr kena scolded.. lol.

5. work load is stil adaptable cos stil new, also not much duties ya. but heard fr my frens tt de few yrs dey've been workin here, nv ot so far, so shld b ok ba. stil learning new ropes @ my work plc. a lot of system n program to learn. chim sia. and i hav to handle a few companies i.e. dbs clients. *faint* my dept deals wif corporate banking, closely connected wif treasury. on n off hav to face financial statements, balance sheet, p and l statement again.

aiyo~ thats wad im afraid of actually. but guess its gd to refresh my understanding again since im takin a Finance course hur. we also handle stuff like term loan, letter of offer, overdraft etc, super chim. but its a gd exposure, heh, i dun get to learn all these over at SCB ya? heh. hopefully my customers r patient wif me, cos i heard some companies r quite particular bout lotsa things ah. like today my colleague showed me de steps, we had to looked up some rates (dey call it cost of funds) n quote de all-in-rate to dem. tis particular company wanted to tk a loan of 3m fr us, but upon hearing de rate, she find it too high, n rejected de offer. sigh~ wad to do.. treasury dept decides de rate, not us! there's tis part, i tout it was quite special, cos we hav de authority to mark up de rate if we wan to, of cuz not too high la. if u can mark up high, n de customer accepts, den de bank earns lo. gee.

6. i have been lacking in slp. LOL~ or mayb i get more tired easily now. work is tiring! it drains out ur energy! hee, but i stil like. :p somedays i come home, after havin dinner, i jus fall on de bed ard 8+, and zZZzz liao~ sucha pig! only gets up wen dear calls me ard 11+. lol. my mini nap to me. heee.

7. dear's getting de hang of OCS life, but stil struglling here n thr, wif all de fear n everythg. haiyo~ *hugs* afraid of nt being able to pass de training etc.. dun get to tok to him much now too, cos he has to wake up so early de nex dae. on n off, he sneakily toks to me til 12+, but quite dangerous hur? now not in tekong, cannot play play ar. sigh~ its been only a wk, missing him loads le. =( *cries*

after a sumptuous dinner, we had.. coffee! hehe. at Siglap's Cheesecake House - Claire's recommendation. had a hard time finding parkin space, but it was worthwhile, cos de cakes were nice! hee. im nt a fan of cheesecake, so i ordered my usual, Tiramisu. gee. YUM YUM! we ordered others like Rum & Raisin, Peach, Oreo etc, all reccomendations fr dem. heh. ambience pretty gd too. nice plc to chill out ya.

dear sent Jolyn and Emi home ard 10+, den de rest of us wen to Parkway for a game of pool. wow, so crowded.. partly cos.. there was a soccer match going on. lol. all de screams of "goal ah!", "aiya!", "miss ah!". haha~ it was a fun nite overall. hope the cousins had a gr8 time. *smiles*

Sunday was rest dae. dear n i planned to stay home, and cooked for each other (instant noodle only.lol), but eh as usual la hur, dear had many more things not yet bought, so bye-bye to plans. lol. he was allowed to bring his civilian bag, so we wen to Carrefour to buy de barang-barang. heh. make him so happy. lol.

so happy i gotta drive! hee~ ive been hesistating too much. now rusty le, all my fault. sigh~ de more i nv drive, de higher my fear now. *cries* but yesterday's drive was ok! hee, dear dear said i improved le! hee. i feel so bad everytime dear hav to drive me even wen he's tired. and i cant even drive him to his camp last time. sigh~ sucha failure. hopefully by de end of tis yr, i can safely drive him fr Pt A to Pt B le. :/

dinner yesterday was different, cos it was wif his mum! hehe. we wen to Bukit Timah, had Squid, Kang Kong, Crayfish & Stingray! YUM YUM~ we were so bloated after tt! dear couldnt even drive! LOL~ sent dear's mum to his aunty's hse, den we set off to East Coast to shang yue. YAY~ on de way thr, dear brought me to experience car wash! hee, so funny! i din noe thr was such thing! *suaku*

new stuff i learn bout OCS:

1. another confinement of 3 weeks (wth!) i tout first 2 wks confinement of BMT was bad enuf.. now.. omg faint! meaning to say, if everythg correct, i'll see dear in October, first wk? lol..

2. nicest bunk bed they are given in SAF (according to his Sir). got computer i heard (but where got time to use sia?)and its only 2 to a room, quite good la hur? hopefully dear gets someone he noes! living wif tt person for 2 yrs.. heh.

3. u hav de authority to bring charger liao, but erh, not much time to use de hp. LOL. lidat i tink no nid charger liao lor? hehe. not much time to msg too. dear told me he prolly can only call, and sae "goodnight dear", and he gotta go liao. LOL~ ok la, better than nothing. hmm.

4. quite horrible thg, is tt he has to go overseas twice. *awww* =( what i heard fr my fren was to Taiwan and Brunei, 3 weeks each. and de Brunei is de more xiong one. wow~ 3 weeks not for holiday, but training. lol.

5. pay dey get is de bonus ah, but go thru so much shit, get those pay? "OCS money bu hao zhuan" - dear's reply. LOL. after their horrible 9 months of hell training, dey get pay increment again. hmm.. after tt 9 mths, i heard it'll be more loose n relax liao. counting dwn to May. heh.

slacked at home de whole afternoon, feelin v worn out, like no energy lidat. lol. couldnt exactly slp well last nite, was worried bout dearie's posting. lol funny ah? on de other hand, dearie wasnt worried at all, slept so soundly. LOL~

i woke him up n pester him to quickly check tis morning. lol.. wif his super duper ancient computer (HEH HEH), his com hanged as usual la hur? so much bombardments fr his frens askin bout his posting, de page couldnt even be loaded! LOL~ after much tries of rebooting the computer, he finally got into the page. YAY, dearie got into OCS! hehe ^^ 9 more months of hell training tho. all de best dearie! jiayou wor~ we'll go thru thick n thin ya?

met June in de evening after her work @ Raffles Place. i feel so scared, seeing so many workin ppl, cos soon, i'll be one of them. :/ workin life is scary. =( we had a quick dinner, den chilled at TCC for a drink. heh.. i miss de gd old daes at SCB sitting beside her, sharing the workload, talkin to pass time. geez. tt can only be memories now. hmm. :) hope she gets to find a perm job soon, while holding on to de current contract job.

we walked past Caltex House after tt, den she started teasin me bout me crying outside Caltex House last time (ever since i told her wad happen), over a lost frenship. so farnie. hee. dun worry, i wun cry over such frens anymore! back den.. everyone meant so much to me, to de extent i couldnt differentiate de gd fr de bad? a fren tt i cld smile n luff wifout feelin any pressure.. shop togeda wifout any worries, but turn out to b a fake frenship.

since tt was wad tt fren told me. "i nv treated u as my fren for de past 1 yr. it was all along a fake appearance". ha.. how happy wld u get to hear a fren sae tt to u? a close one somemore. while talkin to her, i was outside Caltex House wif my parents, n i jus cried on de spot upon hearing tt. sigh~ ok, its over, and i dun feel anythg bout it anymore. jus make me wary of ppl now. hmm.

tml's Saturday. wow~ dearie's reporting back on Monday. block leave over le! *sob* time to work hard again! grr~ i hope, Monday is a good start for both of us, a stepping stone for our future. gambatte!

some updates over the weekend, or rather, the whole week:

i remembered myself gg for another few more of interviews, tryin to get myself a job of cuz. i also attended dearie's Passing Out Parade (POP) togeda wif his mum. =) we took a slow drive to the Ferry Terminal since dearie's mum was early. very early actually, hee. talked to her bout work along the way, telling her all the unexpected events tt happen (at my work plc) etc. ha~ sometimes, u jus cant judge a book by its cover ya?

we were kena stopped by some army guards doin some spot checking, n funnily, de boot had tis box which wrote "explosive items", and tt muz hav shocked those guards cos dey gave us de looks & stares. lol~ tt box belongs to dearie's dad, some tools only, nth explosive. haha~

Ferry terminal + Tekong was totally new to me, cos i wasnt able to send dearie off the other time (all cos of work la!). first exp taking the ferry, aka fast craft. gosh~ so damn packed n squeezy. journey was short tho. mm. wen we gt thr, we were ushered into tis bit auditorium room, guess wad? to watch Mr Bean! muahahah~ guess its for those early birds ba! we were thr like a lil before 2pm? (the parade only starts at 345, lol)

Tekong look so brand new to me. ima new bird, so eyeopener for me ma. everywhr look so new n clean. ha..inside de bunk den i dunno la hur? LOL~ weather was pretty hot, couldnt wait for de parade to start. had to sit according to company letter, thus dearie's mum n i were at de R side. which was full hse by de time we wen thr! alamak~ to tink we r quite early.. there's actually more! haha~

the whole parade thingy was shorter than planned, which is gd, haha. saw de marches dey trained for dunno how long.. can see everyone was in de 'happy-happy' mode tt dae. =) congrats to all! *smiles* yay, graduation after 3 mths, heh. towards the end, we wen dwn to put on de jockey cap for dearie, and of cuz, took lotsa photos. dearie's gonna miz dem i suppose. afterall, dey slp, bathe, eat, talk, wif each other closely for 3 full mths! -band of brothers-

waited for everythg to b settled. cld only board de ferry ard 6+ after all de waiting n waiting. lol~ had a mini celebration, or rather dinner, @ Bukit Timah's Hong Kong Street. its somehow to linked to dearie's family (i tink his uncle is de shareholder or sth). dinner was yummy of cuz. i miss the oat prawns tho! =)

de past wk, we catched de local production, One More Chance @ Suntec. thumbs up! gr8 show i muz say! i always love Liang Zhi Qiang's show. meaningful movie, tt make us understand how de ex-convicts feels, and de challenges dey hav to face. some scenes showed v touching parts too, whr dey emphasise on de importance of a family. =)

leisure aside.. as for job wise.. ive found a job! hehe. *happie* tis was a long-awaited news i muz sae. :) wonder if i did mention de DBS interview i wen wae long ago, like 3 wks ago (not de one in my prev entry)? i wen during my block leave, a Wednesday if im nt wrong. gosh~ and i complained bout how nonchalent de interviewer was.. no expressions.. not much of reaction.. made me feel so uneasy in de rm! sigh~ worse, dey told me tis recruitment is for their headcount nex qtr, which fr him, he told me is in Oct! i tout cfm no chance le!

den last wk, de HR called me! YAY~ ive got a job le! *smiles* happy cos, its a perm job, the pay is higher than my expected, workin hrs aint tt bad (no work on Sat) and not forgetting, de location is convenient! at least I wun hav much worries gg for my classes now! *happy* as for de colleagues there.. hopefully, dey r helpful to help me-tis newbie! for now, everythg's so far so good. :D:D:D had to go dwn for my medical check up tt dae so yup, headed to Raffles Medical Grp near Bugis for all de tests ah. aiyo very ley chey ah. had to run up n dwn different floors to fet different documents, to check on different areas. *faint* came home wif a big big x-ray envelope thingy! LOL~

i'll officially start work on de 19th, meaning, i hav 1 more wk of rest! hehe :p cant wait to start work, n learn new stuffs again! =) told my parents regarding tis acceptance, glad dey're happy for me. wun disappoint ya. =)=)=) *cheers*

had a call jus nw, which informed me regarding the vacancy dey had @ DBS. the job nature seems pretty ok actually, tho i was told tt its v stressful over thr. pay wise, i cant b too particular since im stil v new in tis workin world. my concern was, the location. it isnt v inconvenient, but tinkin of it long-term, if i wld hav to tk a train dwn to Tanjong Pagar for my class, the journey wld b quite lengthy. my mum's concern was if i were to bump into him (my ex bf), den how? ha.. did tink of tt situation, but it wasnt one of my worry actually. job is job, anyway it is a different dept too.

was kinda lost cos im afraid i wld hav given up a golden chance, but den again.. scared by accepting tis, wad if nex few daes, there r better offers for me? its quite a pity sometimes, wen such things do happen. time is always so critical. sigh~

after much thinkin, i tink i shld giv up tis position. for now, i forsee no probs..but wen Oct sets in n my classes start, thr mite b some hiccups wif its location, n i dun wan tt to happen. so yup, decision made, i'll wait. =)
